Lawyer - EQUAL
After obtaining my master’s degree at KULeuven and an LLM at the University of Stellenbosch, I joined Equal Partners in 2017, where I specialise in health law and social security law.
Health law and social security law both belong to a legal area that is continuously changing. The dynamic legal framework is exactly what appeals to me in this field, as well as the social importance.
My role consists of counselling, assisting and defending public and private actors such as government institutions, hospitals, homes for elderly and physicians in different stages of a dispute settlement procedure. By combining a sharp legal analysis and a broad view on social questions, solutions are offered.
Moreover, EQUAL is an innovative project in which cooperation plays a key role: cooperating with parties to settle a dispute, as well as cooperating with colleagues in order to deploy the competences of each team member for the benefit of our clients. Because the role of a lawyer is continuously changing, it is at any rate an exciting challenge to be a part of this interesting project.
